I feel that Linux memory management is somewhat superior to that of Windows.....although it still doesn't compensate for hardware problems..!

sorry Im a newcomer When the memtest was finish I let you know. I've had the same experience as you though. I wouldn't think it would have much effect because I do this normally. In other words, random events can put electronic devices into an odd state that renders them useless.
